I finished a Mermaid Quickie!!

This is the M21 Mermaid from X-Calibre Counted Cross Stitch Kits. Easy, Breezy, Quick and Easy!

Stitchin' by the Sea!

I have been in a cross stitching mood lately. I have finished another mermaid piece. This piece is called "Stitchin' by the Sea" by Brooke Nolan. It was the May 2010 Secret Needle Night piece.

La Mer is la done!

La Mer by Cross-Eyed Cricket. I finished her last night! She was done on Sprite.

I finished a mermaid!!

This was a mermaid kit from www.dmcrossstitch.com. The name of the pattern is MT748. I added in the backstitching and left off the bubbles. I used my own DMC and that was perhaps why I felt like I had to backstitch. There just was not enough definition. I also had to stitch over part of the face with a slight darker thread. I still think it is a cute piece.
