In a Crafting Rut
I am in such a crafting rut. I haven't cross stitched since I finished my last piece. I have brand new scrapbooking stuff that I haven't even taken out of the box. Sigh....

Tigerlily... here I come!!!
Well, I get to work on Tigerlily! Seems that I cannot find the material for Galatea. Guess I will have to purchase some. So, in the meantime, I have added Tigerlily to the Rotation. The rotation now looks like this...
1. Memory Lane - Dimensions Gold Collection Kit
2. Hot Enough for Ya - JABC freebie
3. Mermaids of the Deep Blue - Mirabilia
4. Sail - Shepherd's Bush
5. Tigerlily - Mirabilia

Galatea.. where's the material?
OK. I start out to work on Galatea when lo and behold, I have misplaced the material. Grrr. It wasn't with the pattern or specialty threads. So I am going to have to go and find it.
I had a stash enhancement this weekend. I purchased Tigerlily and Poppy. I got the beads, Kreinik and material for Tigerlily and just the pattern for Poppy.
Did minimal cross stitch this weekend.. it was a really busy weekend.

LK done so what is next?
Well, I decided to give Sooz's TFaaT a try. I have my five for the rotation - they are as follows:
- Memory Lane - Dimensions Gold Collection Kit
- Hot Enough for Ya - JABC freebie
- Mermaids of the Deep Blue - Mirabilia
- Sail - Shepherd's Bush
- Galatea - Passione Ricamo
I have actually started Memory Lane, Hot Enough for Ya, and Mermaids of the Deep Blue already. Sail and Galatea will be new starts. I like Sail. It looks like it will be quick to stitch up.
I got all my supplies together for these five projects. Guess I will start work on Memory Lane tonight.

Living with Charm - rippit good
I am so close to finishing this cross stitch. I am now sewing the border for it. I am stitching it on Linen. Well, of course I crossed over 1 to many. But... didn't notice until I had gotten a way down the border. So rippit...rippit. Grrr... I am hoping...praying...I finish the border this weekend. Please...please...let me finish...

ToFaaT
OK. I have a stitching addiction. I have read all over the Internet and seen first-hand (my sister in law Loria and myself), buying patterns and supplies that I may never stitch. I do have all good intentions of stitching them. I have quite a few started, but don't finish too many. This is where I come to ToFaaT. I read this somewhere on the Internet -it was on a Mirabilia Stitchers forum(Sooz).
ToFaaT stands for Two or Five at a Time. You supposedly make a list of 2 to 5 projects and number them from 1 to 5. You start with #1. If you get tired of working on #1, you go to #2 and so on and so forth. You cannot introduce any new projects until a number becomes available (you complete the project). If you stop the number you're on for a period of time, you must go to the next number and work your way back around to it.
Here's one thing that is good about it... you get work done on more projects. The bad thing is, what if you end up not wanting something in the rotation anymore. I need to come up with a similar system that would suit me.

Learn
Wednesday, March 5, 2008
Grrr. ... I hate frogging
Well, I was working on Lizzie Kate's double flipits. I have already had to rip stuff out once, and I have only worked on "Learn". Anyway, I really should have read the directions. I ended up putting the double border around it and come to realize that if you are going to stitch them all together, you have to omit the border. Grrrr.
So guess what I did what I watched TV last night? I ripped all those stitches out. I can now, finally start on "Listen".

Off the Deep End - done!!
Yay! I actually finished all the stitching on the 11th. I got all of the buttons on except for one. I noticed that this button had no holes. It should have had holes because it was one of the larger ones at the top. So my LNS gave me a few options. They told me to either
1. Glue it on - which I really didn't want to do since all of the similar buttons were sewn on.
2. Take a sharp needle and hold the tip over a candle and make holes in the button.
3. Have the shop owner order another one.
I decided to try #2 and if it didn't work, then I would do #3.
I sewed the last button on tonight and it looks so great!
